How are you today?

I sure hope you’re doing great. If you’re out there crushing it in your business and personal life, I think it’s safe to assume that you’re having a great day. If not, maybe you’re looking for a change. If you’re hoping to find something to help you jumpstart or reinvigorate your investing business, I think you’ve come to the right place. What’s the cost?

It’s $40.00 per event per ticket. We also offer an annual membership for $250. The $250 annual ticket also includes access to the sub-groups on the other Thursdays of the month. Thanks to our generous vendor, Weeks & Irvine Law Firm, food is also provided to our attendees at no additional cost.

What are the sub-groups?

In addition to the main networking meetup on the 1st Thursday of each month, we now offer smaller, sub-group meetups on the other Thursdays of the month. These events are designed to more specifically focus on individual niches of the industry. We offer sub-groups on Rental properties, flipping/wholesaling and commercial real estate. Each of these smaller meetups are help on other Thursdays of the month and are reserved for our annual ticket holders. This is done to try to keep attendance at moderate level in order to create an intimate and focused meeting. If you are interested in our sub-groups, please purchase an annual ticket to begin receiving meeting reminders. We are also proud to announce that we will soon be offering a small group for women investors, as well!

What is REI Central?

REI Central is a monthly real estate investing event brought to you by a bunch of local real estate investors in the Charleston area. We have quite a bit of experience and believe we all succeed when we work together. We hold a monthly networking event with experts in various niches of the market. We also now offer sub-group meetings more specifically focused on different areas of the industry. These events are only available to our annual ticket holders. In addition, we can help you find deals, fund deals, build your team, etc. In addition, we allot a significant amount of time for networking and deal flow. Maven Realty and Clear Vision Coaching are our two founding partners and both provide invaluable services to local investors.

Where is it?

We currently meet at Palmetto Brewing Company at 289 Huger Street Charleston SC 29403. Palmetto Brewing has been a great venue to allow us to network at our own leisure in their beautiful brewery space. In addition to the brewery, Palmetto usually has a food truck located in front of the building. The kind folks over at Weeks & Irvine Law Firm usually provide food to our attendees from the food trucks. Beverages are not provided.

Is this a REIA?

NO! We pride ourselves in being a new type of REIA. In fact, we don’t even like to call ourselves a REIA. We have noticed a void in the event/seminar space for real estate investors in Charleston. We want to fill that void. We also believe in open doors. You can come as your please. We want you to come every month and learn with us, as well as grow your business with us. We know many people avoid REIAs due to the pitchy nature of those types of groups. We do have sponsors and partners who can provide you services and products, but that is not our primary goal. The charges are either a one time admittance fee or an annual ticket fee for access to as many meetings as you can make throughout the year.

Who are the speakers?

This will also change month to month. Our founding members are Russ Scheider, Kelli Garrett, Dusty Keefe and Troy Gandee. Each of these folks have been investing for many years and all have expertise in many different areas of the investing industry. On some occasions, the founders may talk or invite a trusted colleague to speak. However, the main meeting is more of a networking event. Typically, education and speaking is done mores at the sub-groups events reserved for the annual ticket holders.
